Currently, I have been working for Payap University for over 10 years. My specialty is in child's health, health assessment and health promotion.

Summary of my research:
My area in nursing education really needs new innovations and new strategies to enhance student knowledge, practices and attitudes. Regarding to nursing education, nursing students should learn about health sciences and the best way to learn is to experience the real thing. Unfortunately, patients in these days have their own rights for giving or not giving permission for student to practice with them, for instance, in the past my student can help deliver a child but at present, only a registered nurse or a doctor can deliver a child. My students tend to learn from observation or being a doctor’s or RN’s assistant. Meanwhile, my students have a clinical practice both in town and in a remote area, sometime it was hardly connect with them so the most convenient learning tools seems to be the best solution. I am interested in providing a learning method that fit with nursing studies in the new era such as distance learning. A collaboration between nursing schools including Payap University and others universities across the country and aboard is also one of my goal.

Motivation for this workshop
At present, some things can be learned at home, travel from place to place through the internet. It is exactly no border in learning. A research collaboration provides us with a unique opportunity to follow our interest in an area of research. This workshop provides an opportunity for me to learn and experience in my specialized area. I will have exciting personal and professional experiences immersed in this diverse culture and healthcare delivery system. It will expand my knowledge and expertise in my academic field by attending workshop and working with other participants. The new teaching experiences will help to widen my personal and academic horizons. Moreover, I will be able to share these invaluable experiences to my colleagues and students. An international exchange of expertise and knowledge may create opportunities for collaboration in some way such as research opportunity. This workshop is not only benefit for me but for the university as well. One of the real strengths of the workshop is the potential for developing research proposal between researchers from two countries. Universities can combine departmental strengths to develop a research proposal which allows faculty to expand the depth and breadth of their education by research. Furthermore, during the challenges of higher education in a rapidly changing world, this workshop may assist me to learn how to exploiting the use of new technologies in nursing education. The workshop seems to match with my professional goal.
Future research intentions:
I am interested in child's health nursing and health promotion. My future plan for research is about teen pregnancy, child growth and development and parent education.
