Summary of my research:
My Main areas of interest are tourism development especially the areas of tourism planning, health tourism (focused on spas and hot springs), eco-tourism and tourism related to the development of cruise port in Thailand. In my educational role, I also have interest in mobile learning initiatives for students who are tour guides developing and expanding their knowledge for their work.
Motivation for this workshop
I hope to expand my knowledge of educational technologies and useful initiatives for application in my work in Thailand. The broad base of students in the open university of differing ages, educational backgrounds and experience requires that a broad based, flexible approach is applied to my work. This can always benefit from new ideas and different approaches. Participation in the workshop also gives me an opportunity to widen my relationships internationally and will enable me to learn, collaborate, exchange ideas and possibly work with researchers from both Thailand and UK.
Future research intentions:
I would like to expand my knowledge and experience of different developments in the field of tourism with such international collaboration.
