Summary of my research:
Achieving sustainable agriculture can be exercise at a smallholder farmers level. My interest area in Open Data is about developing the data model for smallholder farmers.
Such information modeling adopts the New Theory (introduced by His Majesty KingBhumibol of Thailand) in order to promote a sustainability for rural household. An opportunity to deploy the data on a mobile application is challenging.

Motivation for this workshop
Gaining experience and sharing viewpoint among fellows will enrich my information modeling design. My research bases on The New Theory; which is an agricultural methods applied by smallholder farmers in Thailand, it is one of the application of the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy.
Taking the next step towards mobile device is what I am eager to explore. |
Future research intentions:
I would like to build an international cooperation regarding providing essential datasets for rural farmers to use in a decision making. My hands-on volunteering experience as a co- founder of Thonghathai farm, an integrated farming, will be a valuable -more or less- source for other related research.
